Draft Strategy Consultation

The first draft strategy of the IMA sets out our ambitious plans to fulfil our mission to put protecting the rights of EU and EEA and EFTA citizens at the heart of UK public bodies’ work.

Underpinned by our Annual Plan our draft strategy covers our aims for our first years of operation up until 2024 which are to:

  1. To become a trusted, known, and credible organisation who can be relied upon to act with fairness, transparency, and impartiality to ensure the rights of EU and EEA EFTA citizens are upheld by public bodies.
  2. To work in partnership to ensure the rights of EU and EEA EFTA citizens in the UK and Gibraltar are upheld by public bodies.
  3. To be an agile and evolving organisation with a supportive culture which delivers for the EU and EEA EFTA citizens whose rights we help to uphold.

We are keen that our first strategy is shaped by the views of all our stakeholders which is why we are asking people to tell us what they think.

Alternatively you can email us using the following email address: ima@ima-citizensrights.org.uk

The consultation closes at noon on 22nd October, 2021.
