DWP: Winter Fuel Payment 2025 [Changes to the Winter Fuel Payments Regime]

The IMA is engaging with the DWP and the Devolved Governments regarding recent changes to regulations on Winter Fuel Payments (known in Scotland as the Pension Age Winter Heating Payment), particularly concerning their scope and classification under social security coordination. 

The IMA has received complaints in relation to the territorial scope of winter fuel payments being changed in 2025 to England and Wales only.
