We have enabled the ReachDeck toolbar on the IMA website.
This toolbar has a number of functions which allow you to simplify webpages, have them read aloud, and have webpages and pdf’s translated into your language of choice.
This page offers guidance on how to use the tool, and explains what ReachDeck does and why we have enabled this tool.
What is ReachDeck?
ReachDeck as a standard tool for improving the accessibility and readability of digital content. This includes tools for text-to-speech, reading support, and translation to ensure usability for diverse audiences, including individuals with visual impairments, are neurodiverse, or those who speak English as an additional language.
How do I use the tool?
We are currently working on a bespoke video guide for using ReachDeck on the IMA website, but for now you can watch the video below to learn more about each of ReachDeck’s functions.
Translation disclaimer
This website has been equipped with the ReachDeck tool which has a number of functions to enable the content of the IMA website to be more easily understood. Part of this tool enables the website to be translated for your convenience using translation software powered by Google Translate. Whilst automated translation software is continually improving to offer the most accurate translation, no automated translation is perfect, and it may not always be able to accurately interpret more complex pieces of information.
