Gibraltar Suspension of Issuance and Residency Documentation – Immigration (EU Exit) Regulations 2025

The Immigration (EU Exit) Regulations 2025 came into force on 6 October 2025 purporting to restrict the residence rights of EU and EEA EFTA citizens who do not hold a residency document. 

The IMA has worked with the Government of Gibraltar which has amended the Regulations making it clear that the restrictions do not apply to individuals with rights under the Withdrawal Agreements.
