Housing in Gibraltar

The IMA has received information that affordable housing is prioritised for Gibraltarian and British Citizens. We are still in discussion with HMGoG and further information will be provided as soon as we are in a position to provide an update. 

The IMA welcomes the changes made in the revised Housing Allocation Scheme, which came into force on 6 January 2026.

The IMA and His Majesty’s Government of Gibraltar (HMGoG) have worked together to resolve this issue, recognising  HMGoG’s  commitment to uphold the rights of citizens protected by the Agreements.
