Scottish Government Welfare Foods (Best Start Foods)

The IMA engaged with the Scottish Government, raising concerns about the Welfare Foods (Best Start Foods) Amendment Regulations 2023 and secured commitments to bring them into line with the Withdrawal Agreements. This included agreeing to amend the Regulations by October 2025, update guidance by October 2024, and confirm that no eligible citizens were disadvantaged in the meantime.
